PR intern - Fall 2018 Koroberi - Durham, NC Internship Koroberi (www.koroberi.com) is seeking a PR intern for the Fall of 2018. Our internship program provides the experience and understanding of agency work necessary to jumpstart a career in public relations, advertising, marketing or other related field. Koroberi interns are exposed to a wide range of agency disciplines through digital, advertising, public relations and design departments. As a spring PR intern, responsibilities include: * Media monitoring: compile client editorial placements into monthly reports * Writing and editing: draft, edit and proofread PR materials and agency blogs as necessary, adhering to proper voice, tense and AP style * Social media: Help manage agency social media and assist in client social media management as needed * Media relations: update editorial pitching calendars, manage media distribution lists * Competitor intelligence research: conduct internet-based research, compile reports on a monthly and as-needed basis Please note, additional responsibilities may be added based on company needs and/or intern capabilities and interests. Preferred start in August. Qualifications/skills: The ideal applicant is a junior with a major in public relations, advertising, marketing, journalism, communication or related field. Applicants must be organized, detail oriented, have strong verbal and written communications skills, and experience with social media, Microsoft Office and AP Style. Be prepared to learn internal processes and tools like Dropbox Business, Slack, Meltwater, Harvest and more. The selected intern is required to be in the office at least 15 hours per week.
