    Job Title: Dockhand

    Reports to: Marina Manager

    Position Summary

    The Dockhand supports daily marina operations by providing exceptional customer service and assisting with safe docking, launching, fueling, and movement of boats. This position maintains clean, organized, and safe docking. launching. fueling, and movement of boats. This position maintains clean, organized, and safe docks and waterfront areas, assists customers with their boating needs, and supports marina operations, rentals, and other duties as needed. The Dockhand follow all safety procedures and ensures a positive customer experience.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Follows all safety precautions and procedures at all times
    • Greets all customer in a prompt and courteous fashion
    • Accurately processes all transactions
    • Maintain the gas dock and surrounding area to be orderly, safe, and clean
    • Maintain a professional image consistent with our commitment to customer service at all times
    • Safe launching, fueling, docking, and movement of boats
    • Be protective of the environment, avoiding gas and oil spill, as well a litter
    • Assist with the boat rental process
    • Apply registration renewals to storage boats
    • Respect fellow co-workers and follow company policies while working with integrity
    • Performs other duties as assigned

    • At least 16 years of age
    • Have a valid state driver#39;s license and vessel license
    • Ability to pass a pre-employment background/drug screen
    • Weekend work required

Occasional travel between storage yards or customer sites is required.
