This position will be based in the Greater Long Beach, CA area and will report to the National Accounts Director - West , for Krispy Kreme, while supporting and reporting to the President/COO of Awesome Doughnuts (Krispy Kreme Southern CA). Market Sales Manager
As a Market Sales Manager at Krispy Kreme Doughnut, you will use your strategic thinking skills to represent our brand to some of the world’s most respected and recognized retail operations and be an important member of a cross-functional commercial team. This position is responsible for building strong customer field partnership working across multiple functions to develop sales strategies, ensure flawless execution and monitor performance of assortment, merchandising, pricing, shelving and promotional initiatives.

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Building relationships with Grocery and C-Store account partners to include field sales, account setup and growth management
Providing sales, shopper and productivity insights to both our internal teams and customer partners
Operational alignment to consistently deliver World Class customer service
Partnering alongside our Marketing, Shopper and Finance teams, providing perspective and identifying solutions to our business and brand opportunities in the marketplace
Leveraging the Category Management & Shopper Insights Team to identify and analyze pricing, distribution and other category/brand opportunities at the Banner and Region level
Working alongside our Account Executive, RGM and Finance teams to manage trade spending efficiency / effectiveness and adherence to feature price guidelines for all categories
Evaluating the performance of multiple product launches, corporate promotions and other initiatives – effectively communicating the results to both internal and external stakeholders
Working with Supply Chain to ensure the right product is available at the right time, in the right format for the right channel
Ensuring best practices are continually developed for optimal execution and effectively implemented at the Customer level
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
Required:
Four-year degree candidates preferred
Minimum of 3 years' experience with the Consumer-Packaged Goods industry building field partnerships within Grocery, Mass & C-Store segments
Walmart account management experience preferred
Experience translating corporate objectives into meaningful and effective programs
Experience managing internal and external stakeholders across various levels and functions
Strong communication skills – verbal and written
