    Job Description

    Kronenberger Rosenfeld, LLP is seeking an experienced paralegal or legal assistant, with at least 2 years of relevant experience, to join our growing firm. The successful candidate must be familiar with civil litigation, be able to multi-task, and enjoy working as part of a dynamic team. The successful candidate will primarily work remotely (from anywhere in the US), but will be able to use our offices in downtown San Francisco, California as needed or desired. This is a great opportunity to join a growing legal team and work on cutting-edge legal issues.

    Kronenberger Rosenfeld is a boutique law firm, which focuses on litigation and marketing compliance issues in the internet context. On the litigation side, we represent clients in trademark, trade secret, copyright, defamation, false advertising (including government enforcement actions), telemarketing, and email marketing matters. On the advertising compliance side, we advise clients on online marketing programs, email and telemarketing campaigns, and internet privacy issues.

    The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

    · Minimum of 2 years litigation experience as a paralegal or legal assistant;

    · Bachelor’s degree;

    · Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Westlaw;

    · Experience overseeing document productions;

    · Experience cite-checking briefs and filing documents with courts through various e-filing platforms; and

    · Experience calendaring pre-trial and trial deadlines;

    Duties:

    · Assist attorneys in preparing templates for pleadings, motions, and discovery documents;

    · Proof, cite check, assemble, and file documents with various courts, including coordinating with court staff when necessary;

    · Draft routine correspondence;

    · Assist in document review and production, including through our e-discovery platform;

    · Help maintain our firm’s document processing and management systems;

    · Work with third-party vendors on service of documents;

    · Help manage our litigation calendar, including by monitoring case dockets; and

    · Maintain regular office hours of roughly 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Pacific time, or as otherwise negotiated if located in another time zone.
