    TAX MANAGER

    Krost CPAs is a Certified Public Accounting and Consulting Firm based in Pasadena, California. We provide the highest quality professional service and guidance to our clients and affiliates. We are an independent member of Polaris International with member firms and resources throughout the world.  We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of tasks including preparation of individual, trust, corporate and partnership tax returns, tax research and compliance functions, as well as having excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

    REQUIREMENTS: 

    • CPA and Masters of Taxation is preferred
    • 6+ years of recent experience in a CPA Firm
    • Exposure and mastery of tax and tax research
    • Research complex tax matters
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and budgets
    • Supervise tax department including mentoring staff and seniors
    • Ability to recognize, evaluate and communicate potential tax risks and planning opportunities
    • Oversee all aspects of Individual, Partnership, Corporate, Trust and Estate issues
    • Review returns
    • Provide consulting and compliance work
    • Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures
    • Proficient in Lacerte, RIA, BNA as well as other accounting software
    • Excellent verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
    • Strong leadership skills
