JOB POSITION DESCRIPTION:

In addition to providing customer service to our sales personnel, the Warehouse Assistants work as part of a team having responsibility to prepare product for sale, receive and transfer inventory and process flower spoilage. All Warehouse Assistants will become proficient in all tasks performed within their assigned warehouse and will rotate through all or most tasks rather than being assigned to a specific task on a permanent basis. Currently looking for part-time staff to work primarily Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Help maintain accurate inventory. Responsible for processing inventory transfers between locations. (ie. transfers between the warehouse and trucks)

Prepare product for sales department to deliver to customers

Assist by receiving products and distributing to end location

Accurately process and record spoilage of product (product that cannot be sold to customers)

Assist in performing inventory counts, such as, year-end inventory or periodic inventory of locations.

Perform cleaning and other maintenance duties

Operate heavy equipment, such as a power jack, forklift, compactor, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Hard working

Willingness to help others

Flexible in a changing environment

Must be 18 years old to operate trash compactor, power lift and/or forklifts
