Responsibilities: • Record and update the status of all case files in the case management system • Modify, review, and draft demand letters, pleadings, claims, motions, discovery responses, subpoenas, memorandums, and other legal documents • Assess potential personal injury claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients accordingly • Supervise and delegate tasks to the team of legal assistants, personal injury paralegals, case managers, litigation paralegals, and legal secretary • Serve as legal counsel on the clients’ behalf at hearings, mediations, trials, depositions, and litigation Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree and a J.D. degree is required • Proficiency in computers is vital • Membership in the State Bar Association and a state license to practice law is mandatory • Knowledge of personal injury law/ tort law, medical terminology, wrongful death, civil and family law, and medical malpractice is vital • Superior research, negotiation, drafting, and communication skills are highly valued Compensation: $60,000-$80,000 based on experience
