    QUALITY ASSURANCE AND SUPPORT SPECIALIST

    Kumanu is currently seeking a passionate energetic individual to join our team part-time (approximately 30 hours per week) to provide a combination of quality assurance and technical support for our end users. The position will be remote to start, but eventually located in our Ann Arbor headquarters. 

    Responsibilities: 

    • Perform quality assurance of the Kumanu software
    • Troubleshoot and clearly document quality issues 
    • Perform thorough regression testing for any defects
    • Work closely with the Kumanu development team to resolve technical issues
    • Field incoming support requests (primarily email, occasional phone calls)
    • Support users in resolving issues related to using Kumanu products (mobile/web apps) 
    • Be the face of Kumanu for one of our most valuable assets: our end-users!

    Necessary Skills:

    • High attention to detail
    • Strong problem-solving skills including identification and diagnosis
    • Comfortable with wide variety of mobile and web technologies
    • Strong written and oral communication skills 
    • Comfortable in a fast paced, highly interactive environment
    • Highly organized, self-motivated and able to manage time effectively
    • Patience and composure when helping customers who might have little technology experience

    Qualifications: 

    • Bachelor's Degree in a scientific, technical or engineering field

    Bonus Points for:

    • Experience with Zendesk or similar customer support tools
    • Experience with JIRA or other bug tracking tools
