About the Role:

Kumon of Tampa-Palma Ceia, FL is looking for an enthusiastic and math-savvy Kumon Assistant to help students unlock their full academic potential. If you love math and enjoy working with students, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Assist students with Kumon math worksheets and guide them through self-learning exercises

Grade completed student worksheets accurately and in a timely manner

Monitor student progress and provide encouragement and positive reinforcement

Support the center instructor in managing daily center operations

Communicate student performance observations to the lead instructor

Maintain an organized, focused, and welcoming classroom environment

Help students develop independent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Requirements:

High school math proficiency required; coursework through Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, or higher preferred

Patient, encouraging, and able to connect with students of varying skill levels

Strong attention to detail and accuracy when grading student work

Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent schedule

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
