Job Description

Kapili Government Services, LLC is looking for a qualified Peripherals Support Technician to support our contract with the Defense Threat Reduction Agency at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, NM.

The successful candidate will be an experienced customer service oriented professional with experience competently supporting and troubleshooting peripherals in a government IT environment. Peripherals include high-volume/industrial scanners, digitizers, and printers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure maximum uptime for all peripherals.

• Support changes and/or upgrades to agency IT systems (hardware & software)
• Support the authorization, accreditation, implementation, operation, cybersecurity, and maintenance of the government scanners, digitizers, and printers.
• Provide training and or procedures on the proper use of equipment
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• 5+ years experience in a similar role in a similar environment.
• Experienced supporting in Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment

DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT:

•             Current Security+ Certification or Equivalent Required

CITIZENSHIP/SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

•             Secret Clearance Required
