Role Overview
The Instructional Designer will design and deliver engaging, scalable learning solutions with a strong focus on video-based training and multimedia experiences. This role partners with subject matter experts and stakeholders to translate complex concepts into learner-centered content across multiple formats. The position emphasizes visual storytelling, eLearning development, and the production of high-quality instructional materials aligned with organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Instructional Design & Curriculum Development
Analyze learning needs and design effective training strategies, including blended learning approaches
Develop eLearning modules, curricula, and supporting materials aligned with business goals
Create detailed storyboards, scripts, and instructional content for diverse learning formats
Apply adult learning principles and instructional design best practices
Video Production & Multimedia Development
Design, produce, and edit instructional videos, including software demos, walkthroughs, and microlearning content
Use tools such as Camtasia to create polished, engaging, and accessible video training assets
Develop multimedia elements including screen recordings, voiceovers, and visual storytelling components
Ensure all content aligns with branding, accessibility, and quality standards
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
Partner with subject matter experts to translate complex information into clear, learner-friendly content
Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and refine training deliverables
Build strong relationships across departments to support training initiatives
Project Management & Delivery
Manage multiple instructional design and multimedia projects simultaneously
Deliver high-quality training solutions within established timelines
Conduct quality assurance reviews and ensure consistency across deliverables
Adapt priorities based on evolving project needs
Required Qualifications
Technical & Tools
Advanced proficiency with Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise)
Strong experience with Camtasia for video editing and screen capture
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project)
Experience
Minimum 4+ years of instructional design experience
Proven experience developing video-based training and multimedia content
Hands-on experience with curriculum design, needs analysis, and eLearning development
Experience independently delivering end-to-end training solutions (analysis through evaluation)
Core Capabilities
Strong expertise in adult learning principles and online learning strategies
Experience developing blended learning programs (instructor-led, virtual, self-paced, video-based)
Ability to script, storyboard, record, and edit professional training content
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting enterprise-level training programs
Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design principles
Exposure to learning analytics or training effectiveness measurement
Experience working in regulated or large-scale organizational environments
