    Job Summary

    Our in-house Lab Technician follows established procedures to refine crude hemp oils together to create the final product and runs processing equipment like blenders, scales, hydrator oven, and more. This position requires performing accurate distillation weighing, attention to detail, and moderate computer skills.

    Responsibilities

    Operate, clean, and maintain laboratory equipment. Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on associated equipment as required.

    Provide assistance to onsite team members

    Ensure compliance and accuracy involving all product tracking, product security, and product movement procedures.

    Carry out all assigned duties including (but not limited to) oil extraction, extract processing, and other manufacturing responsibilities in a safe and efficient manner that also complies with State Regulations, SOP’s, and all applicable laboratory procedures.

    Maintain the inventory responsibility of all raw materials, finished products, and by-products of the hemp manufacturing process, maintain the proactive behavior around the manufacturing facility.

    Develop expertise in extraction, refining, testing and formulating methods of various cannabis compounds. Ability to author and execute manufacturing batch records and SOPs.

    Other manual labor tasks as required by the foreman or supervisor

    Qualifications

    Ability to meet the physical demands of the job and high pace environment.

    Strong attention to detail

    Excellent hand-eye coordination

    Ability to adhere to all safety rules and regulations

    Knowledge of lab equipment and industrial machinery is preferred

    Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills

    Additional certifications or apprenticeship experience is preferred but not necessary

    Be able to lift and handle up to 40lb.

    2-5 years of experience in cannabis industry
