Job Description
Position: Staff Accountant
Salary Range: $65,000 - $68,000
Type: Temp to Hire, On-Site with Flex Option after Probationary Period
Work Schedule: Mon - Fri, 8:30 am to 6:00 pm (leave early on Fridays)
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting preferred, or equivalent work experience
Minimum 2 years of recent experience in accounting
Proficient in accounting duties related to global procurement, including audit, cost accounting, general ledger, treasury, cash applications, and fixed assets
Strong communication skills
Ability to interact with General Manager and Operations
Responsibilities:
Manage and execute day-to-day accounting functions related to global procurement
Conduct audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations
Implement cost accounting methodologies to optimize financial processes
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
Oversee treasury functions, including cash management and forecasting
Process cash applications and monitor receivables
Track and manage fixed assets
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for financial reporting and analysis
Provide support in financial decision-making processes
Continuously assess and improve accounting processes for efficiency and accuracy
Communicate effectively with the General Manager and Operations to address financial queries and insights
