We are looking to hire a new Accountant to join our small, tight knit finance team. Reporting to L7’s Financial Controller, you will be a vital member of the company’s Financial Accounting, Tax and Audit function. You will be working at the direction of the Financial Controller on the execution of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes (AR, AP, Banking and Financial Statement preparation), gaining exposure to the annual external audit and tax filings processes. You will also get to work closely with our Director of FP&A as well as our CFO, who are all based in Austin.

** NOTE: This is a hybrid role where the employee can work from home but must currently reside in Austin, TX and be willing to occasionally work from HQ.**

What you will get to do:

• Utilizing best of breed financial software solutions including Sage Intacct, Bill.com, Expensify and Egnyte ensuring timely and accurate recording and processing of transactions
• Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions.
• Prepare and post General Journal entries on a range of accounting matters including Prepayments, Accruals and other routine journal entries.
• Direct customer interactions with respect to Accounts Receivable
• Prepare and process semi-monthly and bi-weekly payroll via ADP
• Perform Balance Sheet Account reconciliations for monthly close including Bank Reconciliations
• Prepare and provide weekly reporting including Accounts Receivable, Employee Expense Reimbursements and Accounts Payable activity and status reports.
• Assist in the coordination and support of annual external audit.

What will make you a good fit:

• Min 3 years of direct related accounting experience
• Working knowledge of US GAAP
• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting.
• Experience collaborating with a team
• Adaptable and flexible with proven experience working in agile start-up environment
• Must currently reside in/near Austin, TX and be willing to work in a hybrid, work from home + from HQ as necessary

• Demonstrable experience with Sage Intacct, ADP, Bill.com, Expensify or similar advanced accounting systems is preferred.
