DescriptionThe LA Clippers are looking for an upbeat and hardworking Video Production Intern to support our in-house content team. Intern will assist the Digital Media Production team in the creation of all video content for all LA Clippers digital properties.Primary responsibilities will include, but not limited to supporting the production team during all phases of video and audio production, including media management, camera operation, prepping of lights and audio equipment, basic editing, gathering, and handling content for videos, equipment maintenance and organization, and more. A strong understanding of content strategy and how it applies to digital marketing is highly preferred.This is a paid part-time position based out of our DTLA office. We are looking for someone local to LA and who can commit to an average of 30 hours per week from Jan - Aug 2022. Intern will work all home games (approximate hours are 2pm - 12am on game days).We are committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace. Fully vaccinated refers to at least two (2) weeks after the final dose on a two-dose vaccination series (Pfizer or Moderna) or at least two (2) weeks after a single dose COVID-19 vaccination series (Johnson and Johnson).What You Will DoActing as a production assistant on major shoots, game nights, features, in a studio and field environmentBasic editing in Premiere or FCPX and After EffectsPreparing content for distribution across multiple platformsHelp in maintaining production calendar as neededLogging video and entering metadata on assets in internal Data Asset Management systemAssist in the production of original short-form digital video content and social media content for a global audienceAssist with development and brainstorming of content franchises to aid in growth of social accountsHelp with the execution of social media content, promotions, applications and activationsYour Background, Skills and ExperienceAn understanding of the fundamentals of camera and lighting operations; including composition, exposure, and the ingestion of media to prep for editingAn overall understanding of the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, primarily focused on Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, and After EffectsStrong and effective interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and an ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a professional wayAble to handle several projects at once and meeting tight turn around times.Possession of a strong work ethic and high level of confidentialityThere are shoots done at remote locations, requiring some traveling, and moving heavy camera equipment aroundAbility to learn, contribute and thrive in a fast-growing, dynamic environment.Self-starter and entrepreneurial spirit with hands-on approach towards business.The LA Clippers are a proud equal opportunity employer.
