Licensed Couples Therapist (LCPC/LCSW) – In-Person | Orland Park, IL
About the Role
Join The Heart of Counseling & Wellness as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Orland Park, IL. We are seeking a clinician with a strong passion for working with couples and adult clients.
This role is ideal for a therapist who values in-person connection, enjoys relationship-focused work, and is committed to helping clients navigate healing, communication, and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Provide in-person therapy for adults and couples
Conduct relationship-focused sessions (communication, conflict resolution, intimacy, and trust)
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation (within 48 hours)
Provide crisis intervention when clinically appropriate
Collaborate with the team for consultation and support
Utilize evidence-based approaches (Gottman, EFT, CBT, or similar modalities preferred)
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field
Active Illinois license as an LCPC or LCSW
Experience or strong interest in couples/relationship therapy
Comfortable working with adult populations
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and maintain a consistent in-person schedule
Experience with EHR systems (SimplePractice a plus)

1099 Contractor Option:
Competitive fee split based on caseload volume
Flexible scheduling and autonomy
Administrative support provided (referrals, billing, operations)
Compensation is discussed transparently during the interview process and is based on experience, specialization (especially couples work), and caseload commitment.
Clinicians with advanced training in couples therapy (e.g., Gottman, EFT) may be eligible for higher compensation tiers.
