    Clinical Therapist (Social Work)

    Location: Salt Lake City, Utah
    Compensation: $67,000 – $80,000 per year
    Sign-on Bonus & Relocation Package Available

    About the Role

    We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Clinical Therapist to provide a full spectrum of clinical services within the scope of licensure, ranging from mental health therapy to case management. This position plays a critical role in supporting individuals in their journey toward recovery and requires strong collaboration across treatment teams, funders, and legal entities.

    Enjoy a standardized 36-hour work week (example schedule: Monday–Thursday, 9-hour days) while making a meaningful difference in the lives of clients.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and diagnostic interviews

    • Administer clinical tools and gather sensitive client information with professionalism and rapport

    • Develop and update treatment plans according to best practices and program protocols

    • Utilize ASAM Patient Placement Criteria in determining service levels and care plans

    • Document assessments, billing, and client data in the UWITS system

    • Complete admissions processes and ensure clients transition smoothly into treatment programs

    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams, stakeholders, and funders

    • Uphold ethical standards and professional boundaries while maintaining client advocacy

    Qualifications

    • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field

    • Active licensure: MSW, CSW, ACMHC, LMFT, CMHC, or LCSW

    • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

    • Commitment to ethical practice and client-centered care
