POSITION SUMMARY: Portfolio Finance Coordinator is to ensure equity investments are received from a variety of institutional investors in accordance with predefined investment deliverables. Investor contact is primarily via e-mail, telephone, and conference calls. Portfolio Finance Coordinators work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders throughout the company and are often relied upon as the Subject Matter Expert when resolving potential discrepancies. Additional functions will include financial modeling, contract extensions, Letter of Credit issuances, and other role-specific requirements. RELATIONSHIPS: The Portfolio Finance Coordinator will report to the Portfolio Finance Manager. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Procure investment dollars in strict compliance to debt and equity legal agreements while managing due diligence requirements. * Read various legal agreements and organize action items forecasted to the chronological needs of 3 to 5 deals simultaneously. * Coordinate meetings with upper management and provide exception reporting and corrective action plans in concise business presentations. * Proactively manage workflow in a self-governing manner between internal and external stakeholders. * Produce professional, error free documentation in a timely manner, maintain superior records retention and retrieval capabilities. * Demonstrate a detailed understanding of business requirements or critical elements of a problem; develop creative, feasible, and integrated solutions. * Independently review workflow and designs and offer solutions to identified requirements, problems, or inefficiencies. * Work with Asset and Property Managers to determine appropriate model-based hypothetical scenarios; make long-term estimations and projections and recommend alternative plans for unfulfilled deliverables. * Assist with financial modeling requirements of Stabilization for pipeline deals, tax credit calculations, source and use estimations, and trustee-required direction letters. * Manage special projects and other responsibilities as required.
