    Role Summary:

    As an IT Systems Architect you will provide compliance management and technical mentorship to our growing IT resource team. As well as hands on project implementation, and day to day systems administration.

    Key Attributes:

    • Technically agile: Able to research and apply emerging and alternative technologies quickly and effectively.

    • Solution architecture: Able to assess a business need and pull from a combination of experience, industry best practices and creative solution design to develop strategies to deploy for complex tools sets to enable all aspects of the business.

    • Project Delivery: Able to plan and execute complex IT implementation projects following structured methodology.

    • Process driven: Can operate in a highly regulated environment and ensure compliance with rigorous process and procedural requirements is met, as well as technical compliance in all aspects of IT influence.

    Key Deliverables:

    • Develop and execute on a 2 year strategic plan for Corporate Computing needs, setting clear and achievable, well prioritized objectives.

    • Enable Dev-Ops and engineering with the tools and resources required for their roles.

    • Engage all business units in needs analysis, and provide guidance, oversight and technical expertise to deploy needed systems to best achieve their business needs while meeting strict compliance requirements. 

    • Provide technical mentorship to a growing IT resource team.

    • Hands on project implementation and day to day system administration

    • Compliance management as part of the ITSO

    Experience: 

    • 8 years plus 
    • AWS Experience a plus!
