CLIENT PARTNER PROFILE & VALUE PROPOSITION:    Our client partner is an established Financial Services Client that offers a full complement of banking, trust and investment services.

POSITION TITLE:   ETL Architect

POSITION SUMMARY: The Business Intelligence ETL Architect helps establish and ensure successful execution of the ETL architecture and strategy for all of the data handled by the BI team. This role will provide input and document ETL design decisions, best practices, and standards for ETL development. The BI ETL Architect will work closely with solution architects, developers, and BI Leadership to ensure the successful implementation of new development strategies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Identifies gaps and recommends solutions within current ETL architecture

Performs an active role in the build out of the ETL ABC framework

Creates ETL templates and reusable code components

Partner with ETL Lead and developers on the approach and design of complex ETL routines

Contribute to and helps document standards and best practices for ETL

Identifies and contributes to the automation of repeatable task. (I.e. Code deployment) Ability to balance various projects and tasks with tight deliverables while keeping informed of existing and evolving development best practice, industry standards and technologies.

Fosters and maintains good relationships with all BI team members to meet expected customer service levels.

Develop and maintain positive, productive, and professional relationships with key business users to meet expected customer service levels.

Complies fully with all Bank Operational policies and procedures as well as all regulatory requirements (e.g. Bank Secrecy Act, Know Your Client, Community Reinvestment Act, Fair Lending Practices, Code of Conduct, etc.).

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

*Minimum of 8 years of experience working with Business Intelligence technologies

*Minimum of 8 years of experience as an ETL Architect, preferably in a data-intensive financial company

*Minimum of 5 years of experience as an ETL Developer. (Informatica preferred)

*Minimum of 5 years of Oracle (or comparable database) experience with BI/DW deployments

*Must have proven experience with STAR and SNOWFLAKE schema techniques Abilities, Job Skills and Knowledge

Knowledge of SAP and Informatica products:  SAP Data Services;  Informatica PowerCenter, Data Quality, Data Validation, Integration Cloud Services Extensive knowledge of Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing concepts and principles

Experience with Snowflake or Big Data a plus

BS or MS in Computer Science or a related technical field preferred.
