Busy defense workers' compensation law firm in Cypress has an immediate opening for an in-person legal clerk, assistant to paralegal. Seeking an organized, fast learner with the ability to multi-task and pay attention to detail.
Duties include processing daily mail electronically, working together with paralegal in scheduling and noticing depositions and medical evaluations/PQME's. Assisting with all new files; creating and updating medical schedule of records; sorting through voluminous records electronically and itemizing; copy jobs, scanning jobs, reception relief; assisting paralegals with daily file handling tasks and project, among other tasks. Position pays based on experience. Workers' Compensation experience a plus, but willing to train the right candidate. Please submit your resume.
