    LG Networks Inc. is looking for an energetic, detail oriented, and reliable SOLUTIONS ENGINEER/SUPPORT TECHNICIAN to fill out our remaining IT position in DALLAS, TX(MUST BE LOCAL). You will provide level 1 and 2 support to end-users across a wide range of clients ensuring optimum functionality of the software, workstations, mobile devices, accessories, and printers.

     

    JOB SUMMARY READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY

    You will be responsible for day to day support, ticketing system flow, coordinating support sessions with users and escalating issues to coworkers or supervisors on as needed basis. Assist with ongoing technology projects.

    This will include basic troubleshooting of workstations, printers, network connectivity, ect. Once you have a handle on the basics, we will train you into higher level skills such as firewalls, server deployments, group policy, email migrations, etc..

    This is not a position for the feint of heart. It will be a boot camp in IT. We are looking for someone who has a passion and just needs the right opportunity. If you aren’t willing to put in the time this isn’t the position for you. If you don’t have a strong work ethic this is not the position for you. You will be required to achieve several certifications that most likely will require studying outside of work hours. LG Networks Inc does include reimbursement for passed certifications.     The work environment is very fast paced. We deal with dozens of companies on a daily basis and most of the time someone is calling because something isn’t working correctly. You will need to have a thick skin and can work in a fast paced and hectic environment.

     

    HOURS

    LG Networks Inc. is a 24/7 365 Help Desk. This position is full-time between 8:00am and 5:00pm with a rotating on call schedule which includes weekends. Occasionally there will be some after-hours projects scheduled.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • High school diploma or equivalent is required; some college preferred.

    • MSP Help Desk Experience

    • Experience with problem resolution in a help desk environment including:

    • Troubleshooting IT issues over the phone

    • Documenting call information into a ticketing system

    • Resolving customer issues on the first call

    • Excellent soft skills

    • Communication (Verbal & Written), Attention to Detail, Customer 1st Mentality, Reliability, Critical Thinking

    • Windows Products (All currently supported versions of the following)

    • Microsoft Windows 10

    • Microsoft Windows Server

    • Windows Exchange Server

    • Microsoft Office

    • Microsoft 365

    • LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, ipconfig, ping, nslookup, Ect.

    • Active Directory and Group Policy (setup, maintenance, troubleshooting)

    • Printer troubleshooting

    • Acronis/Replibit backup solutions

    • Application/Database troubleshooting (SharePoint, QuickBooks, SQL)

    • Virtual machine creation (VMWare)

    • Firewall setup and troubleshooting experience (SonicWall, Cisco, FortiGate, Sophos)

    • Certifications (A+, Network+, ect)

     

    Candidates with MSP Help Desk, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Exchange break-fix, VMware ESXi 6.7, Microsoft Windows Server or Dell SonicWall experience are highly desirable. Candidates with these skills will be looked at first.
