    Job Description

    The Chemical Repackager will repackage acid and organic base chemicals ranging from 200 gallon tote and gallon size into finished products ranging from 10mL to 5 gallons. Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the Chemical Repackager will complete shop orders for finished products by either hand pouring chemicals or use of a semi-automatic bottle filler. The Chemical Repackager is also responsible for labelling and sealing bottles, assembling kits, and reporting completion of shop orders.

    ** Roles and Responsibilities**

    • Fill assigned shop orders with the required material using the correct bottle size and number of bottles.
    • Fill assigned shop orders with required components to complete kits or assemble packages.
    • As directed, transfer chemicals to different intermediate containers.
    • Help maintain supply inventory, including transfer of consumables to proper locations and ensuring timely put away of supplies.
    • Coordinate with leadership in other departments (Documents, USP, etc…) to ensure that DSP shop orders can be completed in a timely manner orders and dispositioning bulks appropriately
    • Help maintain supply inventory, including reordering of supplies and auditing supply inventory
    • Maintain cycle counting schedule as required by the finance department
    • Perform assigned duties using IFS including but not limited to inventory adjustments, entering labor time, and adjusting shop order quantities as needed to facilitate work flow through DSP.
    • Maintain the Bulk warehouse area, Aqueous Repackaging Lab, and Organics Repackaging Lab to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
    • Help maintain all ISO procedures related to downstream processing.
    • Exemplify the LGC core values on a day to day basis
    • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Essential

    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
    • Microsoft Office skills and ERP system familiarity

    Preferred

    • 2 years production experience
    • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
    • Ability to interpret and follow documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
    • Ability to solve practical problems, using a variety of instructions or guides furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
