RESPONSIBILITIES:
Trouble shoot and maintain 3 phase, 480 VAC electrical systems associated with production and facility equipment.
Use test equipment such as volt meter, amp meter, and megger among other testing equipment to diagnose and repair electromechanical production and facility equipment.
Equipment installations - use NEC code to successfully plan electrical wiring installation.
Diagnose and repair at component level: programmable logic controllers, variable frequency drives, encoders, power supplies, limit switches, 3 phase A/C motors, DC motors, and proximity sensors among others.
Diagnose and repair relay logic electrical and programmable logic systems down to component level. Use PLC as a trouble shooting aide to locate electrical/mechanical equipment malfunctions.
Use electrical drawing such as electrical wiring diagram and schematic prints to diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions.
Test malfunctioning machinery and discusses malfunction with other maintenance workers, such as Maintenance Machine Repairer and Maintenance Tool Maker, to diagnose malfunction.
Diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment.
Work in team environment while collaborating with other maintenance team members, production team members, and management to resolve equipment, facility, and process issues.
Perform all duties in accordance with written standard operating procedures and in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices.
Keep work area clean.
Other related duties as required.
