    We are a high-growth organization looking to accelerate the development and commercialization of high-quality therapeutics worldwide. We currently have offices in Colorado, California, Texas, Kentucky, Florida, and Israel and are searching for a Packaging Technician for our Rosenberg, TX location.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Sets up equipment to include: conveyors and accumulator tables.
    • Performs clean-up on: all external parts of equipment, packaging lines, pistons, and fillers.
    • Assembles: bottle cleaner air filter apparatus
    • Performs functions: blowing bottles, placing package inserts on to the container, folding cartons to ready for line use, fills cartons, closes cartons, packs suppositories into cartons;
    • Performs inspections & verifies product, seals, labels, shrink sleeves, closures, lot #’s, and expiration dates.
    • Reads, understands, and follows batch records and completing associated paperwork as needed.
    • Operates equipment to include: filler, cappers, and shrink tunnels.
    • Works with Supervisors, Leads, and trainers to verify all procedures have been followed.
    • Performs all duties according to written Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s), 21 CFR Part 111.
    • Maintains a clean, neat work area, removing trash and sweeping as necessary.
    • Performs other related duties as required.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
    • 0+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Able to read and follow standard operation procedures (GMP’s, SOP’s and Batch Records).
    • Able to follow directions and communicate information (written and verbal).
    • Able to use basic math calculations (add, subtract, multiply, and divide); operate a calculator.
    • Able to assemble equipment.
    • Good organization skills.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Able to lift 25 lbs repeatedly throughout the day and 50 lbs occasionally.
    • Able to climb ladders and use the balance.
    • Able to stand for long periods of time and frequently walk.
    • Able to use hands and arms to feel, reach, and move.
    • Works and partners with others in a positive team environment.
