About the Role:

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our growing healthcare team in Whittier, CA. Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care including administering medications, wound care, and monitoring vital signs

Assist physicians and RNs in performing clinical procedures and patient assessments

Document patient information, medical histories, and treatment progress accurately in EMR systems

Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and post-treatment instructions

Collect lab specimens and assist with diagnostic procedures as directed

Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant clinical environment in accordance with infection control protocols

Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Requirements:

Active Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of California — required

Current BLS/CPR certification

Prior clinical experience in a medical office, long-term care, or acute care setting preferred

Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) software

Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills

Compassionate bedside manner with a patient-first approach to care

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
