Job Overview
Limited Run Games is looking for an accountant to join its growing financial team as a Staff Accountant. We are seeking a passionate individual to support our team with royalty accounting and reporting.
Responsibilities and Duties
Maintain and manage project accounting and royalty reporting across open projects (typically 50+ at any time).
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding the status of project and royalty reports.
Complete monthly close activities around royalties and inventory, including account reconciliations and journal entry posting.
Lead implementation of new royalty reporting platform and drive process improvements within the project accounting and royalty reporting processes.
Work cross-functionally with other departments across the organization on key projects.
Complete additional projects as assigned by the CFO.
Provide financial reporting support to CFO, including assisting in the preparation of consolidated financial statements and other supporting schedules and analyses.
Perform monthly accounting close activities relating to inventory, including account analysis and journal entry posting.
Assist with additional month-end close activities as required, including balance sheet account reconciliations.
Requirements
Degree in Accounting or a related field
1+ years experience working in an accounting
Prior experience with royalty accounting preferred, but not required
Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central preferred, but not required
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Ability to work onsite
