Job Title: LIMS Project Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled LIMS Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of LabVantage LIMS projects. In this role, you will ensure digital manufacturing objectives are met, maintain the integrity of the LIMS system and data, and collaborate with stakeholders across functional areas. You will oversee project milestones, manage resources, mitigate risks, and ensure that all project steps align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, schedule, and manage LIMS projects, ensuring milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
Maintain and update Master Data in LabVantage LIMS to support in-process testing and results tracking.
Support LIMS functionality testing, validation, and integration with other systems (e.g., UNS, Tulip).
Build dashboards and reports for batch status and operational transparency.
Assign and monitor work for technical personnel across project phases, including development, testing, and implementation support.
Track project risks, implement mitigation plans, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
Facilitate RACI matrices, change control processes, and ensure business readiness, training, and deployment plans are executed.
Utilize project management best practices and tools (JIRA, MS Project, SharePoint, etc.) to deliver results.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years managing medium to large IT or Quality System projects.
2–4 years laboratory and infrastructure experience.
Hands-on experience with LIMS Master Data (LabVantage 8.8/8.9 preferred).
Knowledge of data flow requirements in LIMS systems and project scope management via formal change control processes.
PMI (PMP) certification is a plus.
Experience with project management tools: MS Project, JIRA, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Understanding of regulatory requirements: 21 CFR Part 11, 210/211, 820; ISO 17025; GxP principles.
