    We are seeking a dynamic Assistant Director of Finance to join our team. A successful candidate will have a genuine passion for the hospitality industry and an entrepreneurial spirit.

    Process Month End and Year End, adhering to all applicable timelines

    Communicate with management team regarding P&Ls, budgets, financial forecasts, etc.

    Ensure deadlines are met by each department to deliver financial package in a timely manner

    Direct daily, weekly, and monthly bookkeeping and data entry tasks

    Responsible for training and development of accounts payable, accounts receivable, income audit, and general cashier functions and roles

    Reconcile cash accounts daily, including daily deposits, funding requests, and capital items

    Perform analysis of financial statements and reconciliation of balance sheets

    Prepare and submit all relevant City, County, and State taxes for property

    Assist with the biannual audit

    Actively participate in the management of the PO and procurement process, adhering to company policies and procedures

    Facilitate and engage in departmental and administrative meetings as needed

    Adhere to all standards of operations, policies and procedures, manuals, memos and verbal instructions

    Maintain an increased awareness of safety issues and emergency procedures including OSHA requirements

    Help to establish policies and procedures related to accounting functions, cash control, meeting deadlines, etcetera. and ensure compliance thereof

    Take ownership of all guest matters, concerns, and inquiries brought to your attention and resolve in a timely manner

    Must be courteous and gracious, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times

    Establish and maintain good communications and teamwork with fellow colleagues and other departments within the hotel

    Core Competencies

    Three (3) years related experience in hospitality or service industry, with at least one (1) year in a hospitality finance management role preferred
