ABA Therapist - Early Intervention-BRONX

Up to $50.00 - $80.00/hr

We are seeking ABA therapists to provide direct services to young children ages birth to three years old through NYC’s Early Intervention Program.

Job Details

Responsibilities Include:

· Develop creative programs and activities for children with developmental disabilities in order to improve social and cognitive functions

· Encourage the child’s participation in in goal-orientated activities

· Work closely with families to provide information and skills necessary to enhance the development of the child

· Work with families and other service providers to achieve a child’s IFSP or EIP goals

· Provide services in home, school-based and daycare centers

· Daily data collection

· Maintain regular progress reports and attend meetings related to the child

Requirements:

· Certified in New York State as a Teacher of:

· Special Education

· Students with Disabilities Birth-2

OR

· LMSW / LCSW / RN

· Strong time management and organizational skills

· Good technical skills and the ability to learn new databases

Preferred:

· Bilingual a plus

· Experience in Applied Behavior Analysis and Special Instruction preferred but will train

· Experience working in home-based programs, schools or daycares
