We are seeking a Behavioral Technician to join our team of professionals who are committed to improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and related conditions. The Behavioral Technician will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and will be responsible for implementing individualized behavior intervention plans.
Our team of ABA professionals led by Gabriella Nelson, BCBA (AKA @thebehaviorchick on Instagram) utilizes evidence-based techniques to teach in a fun way a wide range of skills, such as communication, socialization, and daily living skills, to children who require individualized support. We work closely with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to create a fun treatment plan that meets the unique needs of each child.
No experience required!
Responsibilities:
Implementing behavior intervention plans developed by a BCBA
Collecting data on clients' progress toward behavioral goals
Conducting preference assessments and other data collection procedures
Assisting with skill acquisition programs, such as language and social skills
Providing feedback to parents, teachers, and other caregivers on clients' progress
Maintaining accurate and timely records of clients' progress and behavior incidents
Participating in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
Requirements:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Enjoys working with children.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to clients' homes or schools
Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and TB test.
High School Diploma

Salary and Benefits:
Entry level after completion of required 40hr training $18 per hour+ for billable work (once pass RBT exam $20+ per hour) and $16 for indirect work (drive time, breaks, mentorship, etc).
Experienced Behavioral Techs will be offered a competitive rate.

Special education major: Individuals with developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorders are often in need of special education services, and a major in special education may provide candidates with experience working with these populations, as well as knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
Communications major: Effective communication skills are essential for any role in the behavioral analysis field, as professionals must communicate with clients, caregivers, and other members of the treatment team. A communications major may have experience with written and verbal communication, as well as experience with public speaking and presenting.
