LEAD / SENIOR PYTHON DEVELOPER

• Agile / Scrum - Rapid Build & Rebuild
• Small, Collaborative team of Senior Technologists
• 85% New Feature Development
• 10% Refactor
• 5% Bug Fixes

TECH STACK

• Python 3.6 with Flask, Celery, Marshmallow
• Docker & Dockers Compose
• Mongo (3.8, migrating to 4+)
• Linux
• CI (GitLab) Code Linting (Flake8), Unit & integration testing (PyTest)
• AWS
• Kafka & Stream Sets

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Agile development & SDLC (ideally Scrum or SAFe).
• 10 years+ building commercial software.
• 5 years+ formal development with Python.
• Building APIs / Services with Python.
• 3 years + building Restful services.
• Proven experience maintaining & improving performance and data integrity.
• NoSQL (Mongo is preferred).
• Data integrations.
• Building cloud-hosted software, AWS is ideal.
• Gitlab, Docker.
• Computer Science degree or similar is preferred.
