    Job Description

    ABOUT US:

    Our client is a medical foundation born out of the aspiration of local and high-quality providers to partner together to bring a greater range of health care services to patients within surrounding communities in the Bay Area

    JOB SUMMARY:

    • Meets with manager to identify their individual and departmental hiring needs, assists with the development and approval of the job requirements, and coordinates the internal and external postings
    • Identifies appropriate recruitment sources (e.g. job fairs, websites, staffing agencies)
    • Conducts the initial screening of job candidates based on position requirements and criteria provided by management
    • May conduct telephone screening interview to identify final candidates for manager interviews
    • Arranges for candidate interviews with manager by arranging meeting, forwarding pre-employment documents to candidates, and providing manager with interview questions
    • Determines appropriate starting salaries, taking into consideration both internal and external equity, and negotiates as necessary
    • Coordinates the offer process; extends verbal employment offers, coordinates details and prepares offer letter/package
    • Conducts background checks and other pre-employment screening processes; reviews results with management to determine eligibility for employment
    • Coordinates appropriate communications with selected and non-selected candidates
    • Conducts background and reference checks in a timely manner; reviews for inconsistencies
    • Prepares pre-hire documentation (e.g. Orientation, Access Forms, Personnel Change Notices, etc.)
    • Interfaces and negotiates with outside Agencies for the identification and selection of Temporary, Registry, Traveler and Physician employees
    • Updates and maintain temporary staff files to ensure compliance
    • Assists with the HR/Agency day for New Employee Orientation
    • Works as a member of the HR team, supporting projects, implementation of projects and filling in for others on the team as necessary

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Four year degree in a related field or relevant experience
    • Three years prior experience in full cycle recruiting (healthcare recruiting is a plus, but not required)
    • Effective problem-solving and deductive reasoning skills
    • High level of organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Competent skills to produce accurate and well-presented reports, tables and spreadsheets
    • Thrives in a fast paced environment
    • Polished and professional demeanor with effective interpersonal skills
    • Able to juggle multiple priorities at once while remaining calm
    • Must be a team player and encompass company values
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
    • Excellent customer service skills required
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
    • Able to deliver effective results, meet tight deadlines and targets
