SUMMARY:
Fort Bend ISD is hiring a “Human Resources Representative”.
Under direct supervision, provides a high level of customer service and administrative/technical support to one or more Human Resources Business Partners, managers, or other HR staff in the hiring and transferring of current employees and prospective job applicants.
DUTIES:
- Provides HR services with a customer service focus to all customers including managers, candidates, employees, and the general public.
- Provides administrative/technical support to one or more Human Resources Business Partners, managers, or other HR staff in the hiring and transferring of current employees and prospective job applicants.
- Reviews and prepares documents required for personnel actions (e.g., hiring, terminations, leaves, transfers, or promotions), including but not limited to background check, fingerprinting, I-9, and service records.
- Schedules and facilitates employee staffing sessions to initiate the onboarding process for new hires.
- Maintains and ensures the accuracy of data entered into employee files and the HR filing system, while following all district procedures. Responsible for data accuracy in Human Resource Information System.
- Follow through with customer inquiries, requests, and complaints. Forwards difficult and non-routine inquiries or requests to the appropriate level for resolution.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Associate Degree or 60 hours
