We are looking for Welder Helpers to assist in the fabrication and welding of products. They will work as part of a team to ensure efficient and high-quality welding operations while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Set up equipment and tools necessary for welding, including grinders, chippers, clamps, and safety gear
• Move materials and equipment to welding stations
• Position and hold materials for the welder
• Monitor gas levels and adjust pressure settings
• Clean slag and spatter from welds
• Help with grinding and finishing welds
• Clean and inspect welding equipment regularly
• Monitor stock levels of welding consumables (e.g., rods, wire, flux) and restock as needed
• Keep work areas clean and organized

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Able to travel
• Strong physical fitness and stamina
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
• Basic understanding of metalworking principles
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently
