  • Responsibilities

    We are looking for a Human Resources Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of human resources principles and practices, as well as experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department, including maintaining HR records, preparing reports, and managing the HR calendar
    • Assist with the recruitment and hiring process, including posting jobs, sourcing candidates, and conducting interviews
    • Onboard new employees, including providing orientation and completing paperwork.
    • Administer employee benefits, including enrolling employees in benefits plans and processing benefit claims
    • Manage employee relations, including investigating complaints, resolving disputes, and conducting disciplinary

    • Provide training and development opportunities for employees
    • Serve as a resource for employees on HR-related matters
    • Collect and review employee timesheets and other payroll information
    • Calculate wages, deductions, and taxes
    • Prepare and distribute paychecks
    • Maintain accurate payroll records
    • Administer payroll-related benefits, such as 401(k) plans and health insurance.
    • Resolve payroll-related issues
    • Stay up-to-date on changes to payroll laws and regulations

    Additional Responsibilities

    • May be responsible for some bookkeeping tasks, such as accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and payroll processing.
    • May be responsible for maintaining the company's employee handbook and other HR-related policies and procedures.
    • May be responsible for providing HR training and development to employees.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
    • 2+ years of experience in HR, with a focus on administrative support or employee relations
    • Strong knowledge of HR principles and practices
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
