Job Description

Interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques, and providing ongoing reports to various stakeholders.

· Generating dashboard reports with relevant metrics, trends, and patterns.

· Working with stakeholders throughout the organization to prioritize business and information needs and identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.

· Developing and implementing data analytics, data collection systems, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and business intelligence.

· Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases.

· Mining and analyzing data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques and business strategies.

· Developing custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.

· Using predictive modeling to forecast financial performance, enhance business efficiency, and fulfill key objectives.

· Coordinating with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.

· Assessing and optimizing the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.

· Developing processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.

Required:

· BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics

· 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst

· Advanced technical expertise with complex data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.

· 3+ years of experience manipulating data sets, building statistical models, and visualizing/presenting data for stakeholders using business intelligence platforms to analyze datasets (MS Power BI, Tableau, Oracle, SAS, etc.)

· Strong experience with:

o Reporting packages (Business Objects, etc.)

o Databases and querying data (SQL, etc.)

o Statistical computer languages (R, Python, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.

· Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

· Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.) and experience with applications.

· Proficient with queries, dashboard reporting, analytical writing, and presenting findings.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.

· A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.

· Advanced experience with MS Office Suite

Preferred:

· Master’s or PHD in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or another quantitative field

· Experience creating and using advanced machine learning algorithms and statistics: regression, simulation, scenario analysis, modeling, clustering, decision trees, neural networks,
