Location: Hospice House in Bend, Oregon. Compensation: $25.49-$40.81(Based on experience).
Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week), working 4- 10s. Shift hours are 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM, with a combination of weekdays and every other weekend.
What You Get To Do: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our care team at Hospice House. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), the LPN provides direct nursing care to patients and supports families during critical moments with professionalism and empathy.
Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments.
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the RN and physician.
Support the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
Educate patients and families on care needs and health management.
Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records.
Assist RNs with specialized procedures and follow established protocols.
Adhere to organizational policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited nursing school with current licensure to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Oregon.
1 year of recent experience in a clinical setting preferred.
At least 18 years of age.
Ability to pass a background test, drug screen, and TB test.
Valid CPR Certification.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
