    Job Overview:

    We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care while working collaboratively with our medical staff. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

    Scheduling needs:

    Shifts available Monday through Sunday

    10am to 6pm

    10 hour shifts

    Ability to work rotating weekends preferred

    Duties:

    • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
    • Perform patient assessments, including vital signs and physical examinations.
    • Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the medical team.
    • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health care, treatment options, and disease management.
    • Insert IVs and administer medications through IVs.
    • Assist with venipuncture and other medical procedures as needed.
    • Provide care for patients in various settings, including internal medicine, pediatrics, and memory care.
    • Utilize knowledge of physiology to assess patient conditions and develop effective care plans.
    • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment.
    • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patients receive comprehensive care.
    • Follow all safety protocols and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.

    Skills:

    • Experience working with children and pediatrics.
    • Ability to administer medications and perform venipuncture.
    • Familiarity with Durable Medical Equipment (DME).
    • Knowledge of patient assessment techniques.
    • Understanding of physiology and its relation to patient care.
