    Location: Naugatuck, CT

    Position Type: Full-Time: 8am-4:30pm /Rotating Saturdays 8am-12pm

    Setting: Private Pediatric & Adult Primary Care Practice

    Job Description

    We are seeking a versatile, highly organized, and clinically skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to fill a unique hybrid role within our growing private practice. This dynamic position blends direct patient care (LPN & Medical Assistant responsibilities) with administrative leadership (Office Manager support).

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Clinical & LPN Duties

    Provide high-quality nursing care within the LPN scope of practice under the direction of the Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN).

    Administer medications, immunizations, and prescribed treatments accurately.

    Perform clinical assessments, triage patient phone calls, and provide sound medical advice/education to patients and families.

    Assist with coordination of care, specialized referrals, and follow-ups.

    1. Clinical Support & Medical Assistant Duties

    Prepare examination rooms, maintain a sterile environment, and ensure clinical areas are fully stocked.

    Room patients, take comprehensive vital signs, and document detailed patient histories in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.

    Perform routine point-of-care laboratory tests (e.g., rapid strep, flu, urinalysis) and phlebotomy as needed.

    Assist providers during physical exams and minor clinical procedures.

    1. Administrative & Office Manager Duties

    Oversee daily front- and back-office operations to ensure efficient patient flow and minimal wait times.

    Manage staff scheduling, coordinate provider calendars, and oversee template management in the EHR.

    Handle basic human resources tasks, including assisting with onboarding new staff and enforcing office policies.

    Oversee patient billing operations, handle billing inquiries, and coordinate with external billing services if necessary.

    Manage clinic inventory, ordering both medical and administrative supplies while staying within budget.

    Ensure practice compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control guidelines.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Education & License: Active, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Connecticut.

    Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of clinical experience as an LPN (experience in pediatrics or primary care is highly preferred).

    1+ years of experience in an administrative, supervisory, or office management role within a medical practice.

    Technical Skills: Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and medical billing software.

    Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding communication, conflict-resolution, and multitasking abilities. A warm, professional demeanor with patients of all ages.

    Benefits & Compensation

    Salary Range: $26.00 – $34.00 per hour (commensurate with experience and administrative background).

    Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays.
