    Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

    Location: 75 Mcmillen Drive Newark Ohio

    Reports To: Director of Nursing

    Position Type: Full-time/Part-time

    Job Summary:
    We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The LPN will provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. This role requires a blend of clinical skills, communication, and collaboration to ensure the health and well-being of our patients.

    Key Responsibilities:
    - Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with personal care such as bathing, grooming, and feeding.
    - Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
    - Assist in the assessment of patient health status, documenting observations and reporting any changes to the nursing staff.
    - Maintain patient records accurately and in compliance with legal requirements and facility policies.
    - Educate patients and their families on procedures, medications, and post-discharge care.
    - Ensure a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients.
    - Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
    - Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of care practices.

    Qualifications:
    - Current and valid LPN licensure in Ohio.
    - Completion of an accredited practical nursing program.
    - CPR and BLS certification required.
    - Previous clinical experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
    - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    - Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks.
    - Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus.

    Physical Requirements:
    - Ability to lift and transfer patients as needed.
    - Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
    - Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if required.
