Position Overview:

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse Pediatric Behavioral Health Unit to join a Healthcare Facility (Acute Care / Academic Medical Center) located in Syracuse, NY. The ideal candidate will provide specialized nursing care to children and adolescents with behavioral health needs, supporting their treatment and recovery in a safe, therapeutic environment.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Licensure: Current New York State LPN license; CPR certification (or ability to obtain/re-certify).
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of LPN experience; psychiatric experience required; inpatient experience preferred.
• Technical Skills: Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) strongly preferred
• Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to pediatric behavioral health patients.
• Administer medications, monitor patient safety and behavior, document patient progress.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment team, implement therapeutic interventions, and support patient and family education.
