Job Description
· Provide specialized care: Treat patients according to the active plan of care provided by physicians and other healthcare professionals, ensuring optimal treatment outcomes.
· Administer medication with expertise: Take charge of administering prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies with precision and compassion, always ensuring patient comfort and safety.
· Thorough documentation: Document all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care meticulously, ensuring accurate and comprehensive patient records.
· Empower patients and families: Educate patients and families on the disease process, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies, fostering understanding and empowerment in managing their health effectively.
Qualifications
· Current North Carolina Licensed Practical Nurse License is required.
· Current BLS
· Attention to Detail
· Time Management Skills
· Effective Problem-Solving and Conflict Resolution
· Good Organization and Effective Communication
· Home Health Experience (preferred)
