    Overview
    ACI Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team on a PRN basis. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a clinic setting. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals. The need will vary upon need PRN coverage. Could be one to three days per week as needed to fulfill nurse staff absence due to vacation etc.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
    • Assist in the administration of medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
    • Provide care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and other specialized procedures.
    • Support patients with ventilatory needs and emergency interventions as required.
    • Maintain accurate patient records using medical terminology and ICD-9 coding systems.
    • Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medication management, and post-operative care.
    • Participate in the Botulinum toxin treatment process under the supervision of licensed practitioners.
    • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans that address patient needs.

    Qualifications

    • Valid LPN license in the state of practice.
    • Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and medical terminology.
    • Familiarity with ICD-9 coding systems is a plus.
    • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
    • Ability to work in fast-paced environments while maintaining a high level of patient care.
    • Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical nursing practices.

    Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

    Expected hours: No more than 24 per week
