Position Summary

The Dermatology Center is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our clinical team. This full-time role supports dermatology providers in delivering efficient, high-quality care. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, patient-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist dermatologists during patient examinations and procedures
• Administer medications, injections, and treatments as directed
• Obtain and document patient vitals, medical history, and chief complaints
• Perform wound care, bandaging, and dressing changes
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for testing
• Educate patients on treatment plans and post-procedure care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records
• Ensure compliance with clinic policies and healthcare regulations
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and overall clinic efficiency
• Accurately scribe for providers during patient visits

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted LPN license in the state of Missouri or active CMA certificate
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR systems)
• BLS Certification preferred
• Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening
