    We are seeking an experienced leader with extensive knowledge of the development market in the Pittsburgh region to serve as a DIRECTOR - LAND DEVELOPMENT SERVICE AREA. The ideal candidate will provide strategic vision, manage staff, assure delivery of high quality projects and services to RETTEW clients, and lead the growth and development of the service area in the Greater Pittsburgh area.

     

    IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING ATTRIBUTES:

    • Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering or Landscape Architect from an accredited college or university.
    • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or Registered Landscape Architect (RLA) in Pennsylvania.
    • Minimum of 10-15 years of oversight of ENGINEERING DESIGN AND MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE preferably in the areas of commercial real estate development, community development, land development, water/wastewater or municipal
    • An established presence/network within the PITTSBURGH region is highly desired
    • Proven leadership and management skills.
    • Construction management background a plus.
    • A proven track record and strong desire of providing superior client service.
    • Excellent communication and public presentation skills.
    • Maintains a presence and seeks leadership roles in professional societies and other organizations related to the municipal market.

    SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

    1. Current state registration/licensure or limited permit as an Occupational Therapist.
    2. Demonstrates professional behavior and appearance.
    3. Attends and participates in continuing educational programs and in-services as requested, which may require overnight travel.
    4. Ability to work on and comprehend computerized technology.
    5. Protects patients/residents and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
    6. Must be able to speak the English language in a comprehendible format.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    1. Subject to lifting, carrying and supporting patients/residents.
    2. Must be able to lift medical equipment, supplies, etc.
    3. Must be able to move (walk, bend, stand, sit, push, pull, lift) intermittently throughout the workday.
    4. Must be constantly alert for patient/resident safety.
