Our growing company is looking for an experienced construction worker to help us complete tasks correctly and on time. Previous job-site experience is required, as is OSHA10 certification, and an understanding of construction methods, tools, and equipment. You’ll work with a close-knit team of other skilled laborers and tradesmen to bring construction plans to life. Responsibilities: Aid tradesmen, sub-contractors and craft workers such as painters, roofers, plasterers, carpenters, and electricians, as necessary Operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment such as jackhammers, survey equipment, and forklifts as required Follow all directions of the construction manager, and work with other team members to complete construction projects accurately Tear down old structures, and build temporary structures such as signs, cones, barricades, ramps, and other devices to control traffic around the construction site Remove debris and hazardous materials to keep the job site safe and clean to meet safety regulations and OSHA requirements Qualifications: Own a valid driver's license Solid mechanical skills are needed, as are good eye-hand coordination and depth perception A high school diploma or equivalent is required - Trade certification, associate’s degree, and/or completed apprenticeship program is highly preferred Past construction experience, knowledge of construction methods, tools, and equipment and the ability to understand blueprints and construction plans are required Comfortable working in inclement weather, like extreme temperatures, rain, etc. Compensation: $15 - $20 hourly
