Job Description

LST is seeking an entry level Software Developer (Web Stack) to provide support for the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) NAS Resiliency Program. The successful candidate will support LST in the test, development and production of a software model inclusive of several indices and a dashboard.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develops and maintains new and existing web-based/data-driven web and standalone applications;
• Build applications that expose complex visualizations of data pulled from multiple endpoints.
• Collaborates with the team members on requirements analysis, design, configuration, change and risk management, documentation, planning, accessibility remediation and compliance, and security and quality assurance;
• Prepares documentation and provides end-user training and support as necessary;
• Establishes productive working relationships and maintains effective communications with teammates and end-users.

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong communication skills to interface with customers as well as collaborate in a cross-discipline team environment is required.
• Good understanding of business process analysis and mapping.
• Ability to work from high-level requirements through detailed specifications.
• Strong attention to detail, well-organized, and ability to self-prioritize, manage and adjust multiple tasks as project evolves is required.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
• Working experience with web development frameworks such as, Angular, Spring, Django
• Working experience with front-end tools such as, HTML, CSS, Javascript, React, AngularJS.
• Familiar with structured Query Language (SQL), writing, executing and troubleshooting PL/SQL procedures
• Familiar with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, ORACLE, SQL Server

EDUCATION

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Information Systems or related field.
• 2-6 years of experience as a software engineer assisting in the design, development, testing and deployment of the computer software.
