    Job Description

    ROLE/PURPOSE STATEMENT:

     

    As the Human Resources Assistant, you will train newly hired or promoted employees of LSG Sky Chefs. This position is responsible for delivery of training on various HR systems, policies, and procedures. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of proven experience with evaluating, creating, documenting, and conducting training for associates of the organization.

     

    MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

     

    • Conduct new hire orientation sessions.
    • Identify and assess training needs within the company.
    • Meet with managers and supervisors to ascertain needs.
    • Direct structured learning experiences.
    • Hold meetings and presentations on learning material.
    • Plan, organize, and implement a range of training activities.
    • Assist the functions of Human Resources through timely and accurate data entry and system reporting.
    • Maintains HR files, I-9 and E-verify documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Maintain confidentiality of all Human Resource information as appropriate.
    • Participate in department meetings and other related activities as needed.
    • Special projects as assigned by management.
    • Interact with all staff in a positive and motivational fashion supporting the Company’s mission.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

     

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • 1-2 years of experience in human resources required
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision, interact with all levels of management and maintain strict confidentiality
    • Strong analytical, verbal, written, interpersonal and organizational skills
    • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with large groups – must be flexible
    • Bilingual English/Spanish required
