    JOB SUMMARY (12-MONTH CONTRACT) RENO, NV 89506

    The position is responsible for reviewing credit requests, validating the accuracy of shipments, and working directly with our distributors to resolve shipping/receiving issues. Will work with all departments of the Company to ensure the customer is satisfied to the best.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Strong emphasis on data/order entry with related computer responsibilities while maintaining telephone support as needed.
    • Verifies pricing on purchase orders, enters orders in the system, and reviews for accuracy.
    • Provides pricing quotes to customers.
    • Assist customers with order status, backorder status, and freight charges if necessary.
    • Research problems related to orders.
    • Initiates and issues return goods authorizations and warehouse research forms.
    • Keeps detailed daily reports and customer information.
    • Stays current on system and process changes.
    • Works on issues concerning billing or service rendered which includes investigating and/or referring complaints of service failures to designated departments for investigation within the applicable threshold.
    • Initiates and issues return goods authorizations.
    • Processes credits and/or replacement orders for products returned from all Distributors.
    • Reviews the validity of deductions/short payments for chargebacks/fines pertaining to compliance issues, shortages, returns (including warranty deduction), Destroyed Field products, etc.

    EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND/OR EXPERIENCE NEEDED

    • High School diploma is required.

    • Detail orientated, with excellent organizational skills

    • A positive attitude, a friendly personality, and a passion for working with people.

    • Must be diplomatic, patient, and a good listener.

    • Experience working with LDL Freight carriers and other shipping companies

    • Must be able to multitask and have strong problem-solving skills, coupled with the ability to think on your feet.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, supervisors, sales reps, and customer service reps.

    • Strong computer skills in MS Excel, and Outlook.

    • Excellent organizational skills

    • Able to utilize multiple computer systems simultaneously

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS: * This position requires you to work at a computer for 8 hours a day while answering calls, responding to emails, compiling reports, etc.

    • May require light lifting, bending, stooping, or reaching. May be required to work overtime as needed.
